MBBR Biocell filter media is applied in the moving bed biological reactor technology. It can reduce biochemical oxygen demand, total suspended solids, nitrogen and phosphorus makes it an effective solution to a variety of regulatory treatment standards.
In MBBR system, microorganisms attach themselves to submerged moving plastic media, forming a biofilm, Air is transferred into the water, mixing the media and water and providing oxygen to the bacteria.
